Oconee Gold N Scoop
Greetings Prospectors!
Well...
Here at the Oconee Gold Mine and Campground, we don’t believe in asking for donations for projects. While we do accept donations, we rather create fun family events and activities that help us reach our financial goals for camp projects. We did that for the septic and dump station.
I also don’t need to go into a long story about how a well and bathhouse at the Oconee Gold Mine and Campground will greatly benefit our guests, but I will tell you how YOU can help make the well and bathhouse project a reality.
Here are simple things things you can do.
- Every night you stay at the Oconee Gold Mine and Campground puts us closer to a well and bathhouse.
- Signing up for Oconee Gold Mine Events like, DirtFest, Metal Detection Events, Gold N BBQ
- Participating in Oconee camp games and activities
- Dine at the Oconee Miner Diner Restaurant
- Purchase products like Digger’s Dirt and Gem Bags
- Participate in Oconee Camp Activities
- Sign up for metal detection hunts.

how a "Well and Bathhouse" at the Oconee Camp will greatly benefit our guests
The Oconee Gold Mine and Campground has accomplished many big projects over the years without asking for donations. Because of members like you who stay at Oconee and sign up for events, Oconee has a septic and dump station, upgraded electric service, high speed fiber optic internet and the new Miner Diner.
Come visit the Oconee Gold Mine and Campground or sign up for one of our DirtFest Events and help us get the Well and Bathhouse Project done!
